Cave Vevey-Montreux

Presentation

The Vevey-Montreux Winery offers you a range of wines
from the hillside vineyards situated between Chardonne
and Montreux.
Devoted to their land, the 70 producers belonging to the cooperative cultivate the vineyards with passion in order
to obtain a harvest of great quality every year.

It was during the troubled summer of 1939 that
the Vevey-Montreux Winery came to be.

In 1943, the building situated in avenue de Belmont was bought, equipped with modern winepresses and provided with a cellar that could store the Montreux harvest.

From 1952, retail wine sales increased. The Winery expanded and developed constantly in the heart of this popular tourist region.

Today, the Vevey-Montreux Winery groups around 50 hectares of vineyards. Deep, chalky soil, an exceptional microclimate and the reverberation of the lake are the main characteristics of our land.
The new tasting/sales area, created in 2006, represents a new stage in the development of our business. All our wines can be bought directly from the winery. They will be enjoyed by those who love good vintages at affordable prices.

The leading appellations are Château des Crêtes, Cuvée St-Vincent, la Frairie, la Récolte Choisie and Oeil-de-Perdrix.

The whites - excellent as aperitifs and with appetizers, starters, fish, white meat and cheese - are generous and have a subtle blend of fruity flavours with a harmonious finish.

The reds, very powerful and rich in natural extracts, find their way onto the best tables, accompanying pork meats, warm starters, poultry, white and red meats and cheese, and are enjoyed by enthusiasts of adult, settled vintages. Finally, the Gamay and Pinot Noir rosés accompany your aperitifs and meals with subtlety and elegance.
