2018 Marketing & Labels Contest
HIM students visited La Cave Vevey-Montreux on November 21, 2018, as part of their tasting courses and with a view to creating a label for the wines to be dedicated to the "Freddie Mercury building", a new private hotel, reserved for student application in Montreux.
They were able to taste the new wines of the excellent 2018 vintage, as well as share a moment of conviviality with the Grand Vin Mousseux Rosé de Montreux. Thanks to Peter Slade, the teacher who accompanied them.
A partnership between La Cave Vevey-Montreux and Swiss Education Group, in particular with the Montreux (HIM) and Caux (SHMS) hotel schools, allowed students to participate in several practical projects in the field of wine : the marketing competition and the creation "LIMITED EDITION" labels for the Montreux Jazz Café is the guiding principle of this collaboration.
Mr. Julien Lilla (CVM) and Mr. Florent Rondez (SEG) presented their prizes to the students who won the 2017 label competition.

Le Rösti à la Stan (Wawrinka)
Les 4 et 5 décembre 2015, dans le cadre du César Ritz Colleges au Bouveret & de la Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, le Grand Chef Anton Mosimann « Officer of the Order of the British Empire » a conçu une recette avec Stanislas Wawrinka : « le Rösti à la Stan », une version saine et sportive du plat traditionnel suisse, l’un des préférés du champion. Pour accompagner ce met, le vin choisi fut le Chasselas « Clos de Plan-Chailly » de La Cave Vevey-Montreux. Les origines vaudoises du No 4 à l’ATP auront permis cette incursion exceptionnelle d’un Grand Cru vaudois en terres valaisannes !
